Class Size

A low ratio of teacher to student is maintained to ensure that each child is given careful attention.

Toddlers have full time assistants aside from teachers. Depending on the developmental state and behavioral type of each toddler, only about 3 -5 toddlers can be in a class at one time.

A typical Montessori class has a healthy mix of students with varying age groups so that there will be an interesting social and emotional interaction. On each class day, a child will have a one-on-one session with a teacher, an independent contruction time, a peer interaction (unless a young child prefers to work alone), and group time. There will be times when a child will teach another child following the Montessori way.

So the concern of parents on class ratio is uniquely resolved in a Preppi Preschool Class. At one time, there will always be children working independently with adults monitoring and supervising them, some children will have one-on-one sessions while others may be having peer interaction or group time.

Unique to the Preppi Preschool Program Format is its Flexi-time schedules and Open Enrollment. Since children are coming at different time slots, the Preppi Pals (teachers) are able to give quality time to each child. The Preppi Place is never full and is able to maintain a reasonable class size.
